Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries (cash, benefits, foreign trial balances, segment reporting, US GAAP adjustments)
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations (cash, AR/AP, payroll, intercompany, and other accounts) and resolve variances
- Own assigned month-end close tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain accounting schedules (e.g., fixed assets, tax roll-forwards for international entities)
- Monitor automated processes (e.g., cash entries) and partner with IT on enhancements
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including close optimization and automation
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, AP/AR, Payroll, and Operations to improve processes and data quality
- Assist with system implementations and enhancements (e.g., planning tools, reconciliation systems)
- Participate in SOX 404 compliance and internal control testing
- Perform ad hoc analyses and support special projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or CPA strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; experience in a multinational public company environment is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally
- Self-starter with ability to manage priorities independently
