GL Senior Accountant (Finance Exposure Req)

Compensation: To $100K.

Job Overview – GL Senior Accountant – 34187

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries (cash, benefits, foreign trial balances, segment reporting, US GAAP adjustments)
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations (cash, AR/AP, payroll, intercompany, and other accounts) and resolve variances
• Own assigned month-end close tasks and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain accounting schedules (e.g., fixed assets, tax roll-forwards for international entities)
• Monitor automated processes (e.g., cash entries) and partner with IT on enhancements
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including close optimization and automation
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, AP/AR, Payroll, and Operations to improve processes and data quality
• Assist with system implementations and enhancements (e.g., planning tools, reconciliation systems)
• Participate in SOX 404 compliance and internal control testing
• Perform ad hoc analyses and support special projects as needed
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or CPA strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; experience in a multinational public company environment is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally
• Self-starter with ability to manage priorities independently
