Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and coordination of U.S. international tax filings, including Forms 5471 and 8858.
- Oversee and review international tax compliance and reporting, including calculations related to GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and Foreign Tax Credits.
- Provide foreign income input to support the quarterly and annual global tax provision (ASC 740).
- Partner with divisional finance, treasury, and accounting teams on tax implications of intercompany funding, settlement of transactions, and intercompany agreements.
- Implement, monitor, and document global transfer pricing policies to ensure appropriate application across jurisdictions.
- Prepare technical tax memoranda addressing domestic and international tax positions, including cash tax and financial reporting implications.
- Analyze global tax law changes and regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Support tax analysis related to international acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate restructurings.
- Assist with global tax audits, including responding to information requests and coordinating with internal stakeholders and advisors.
- Provide guidance to corporate treasury on tax-efficient global cash management strategies, including repatriation planning and cross-border financing.
- Collaborate with legal, accounting, and IT teams to implement tax-efficient structures, systems, and procedures.
- Conduct tax research and planning to support ongoing global tax initiatives.
- 5 years of experience in U.S. domestic and international income tax, including ASC 740.
- Strong experience with U.S. international tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 8858, and related reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of key international tax areas including GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, Foreign Tax Credits, and APB 23.
- Experience supporting tax provision and SEC reporting environments.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare technical tax memoranda and conduct complex tax research.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across global teams.
- Strategic mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities for process improvement and tax optimization.
- Experience in both public accounting and corporate tax environments preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- CPA designation preferred
