- Oversee all billing and accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, cash application, adjustments, credits, and write-offs.
- Manage customer accounts and maintain the integrity of the accounts receivable subledger.
- Monitor collections efforts and proactively resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding balances.
- Prepare and review aging reports, account analyses, and collection status updates for management.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and ensure the AR subledger accurately reconciles to the general ledger.
- Create and post journal entries related to receivables, cash activity, accruals, and other accounting transactions.
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and variance analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong emphasis on accounts receivable, billing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Experience supporting month-end close processes and preparing journal entries.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and the impact of cash and receivable transactions on financial statements.
