Position Overview
We are seeking a Sitework & Drainage Project Manager to lead underground utility, sitework, drainage improvement, and cross bore projects. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and manage field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and crews, oversee project budgets and resources, and provide leadership both in the field and in the office.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, schedule, and manage underground utility, sitework, drainage improvement, and cross bore projects.
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and resources to meet project milestones
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and progress, ensuring profitability and efficiency
- Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local regulations
- Conduct site visits to monitor work quality, progress, and safety practices
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and as-built records
- Mentor and support field and office staff to promote best practices and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of project management experience in construction, with a focus on underground utilities, sitework, drainage improvement, or cross bore projects.
- Proven experience managing field crews, subcontractors, and project budgets.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to multiple project sites as needed.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday, occasional weekends as needed
- Field visits and office-based coordination required
