Position Overview
We are seeking a Sitework & Drainage Foreman to lead field crews on underground utility, sitework, drainage improvement, and cross bore projects. This role involves supervising day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and quality standards. The Foreman will serve as the key link between crews and management, providing guidance, enforcing safety, and maintaining productivity.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and lead field crews on-site for underground utility, sitework, drainage improvement, and cross bore projects.
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to crew members.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and the General Superintendent to ensure project goals are met.
- Conduct on-site inspections, quality checks, and safety audits.
- Report progress, issues, and resource needs to management.
- Maintain equipment, materials, and crew compliance with company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of construction experience, preferably in underground utility, sitework, drainage, or cross bore projects.
- Proven experience leading field crews and managing on-site operations.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks on-site.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (occasional weekends or overtime as needed)
