Position Overview
Nu-Pipe is seeking an experienced CIPP Superintendent to lead field operations for trenchless pipe rehabilitation projects. This role is responsible for overseeing crews, managing daily production activities, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently, and serving as the primary field leader for assigned projects.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) installation, underground utilities, drainage rehabilitation, or related heavy civil construction. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage crews, equipment, schedules, and jobsite expectations.
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee CIPP installation crews on active job sites.
- Manage daily field operations, production schedules, and project execution.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, inspectors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Review project plans, specifications, and installation procedures.
- Ensure proper preparation, installation, curing, and completion of CIPP lining systems.
- Monitor crew performance, productivity, and quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and develop field employees.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily safety meetings, equipment inspections, and jobsite documentation.
- Troubleshoot field issues involving equipment, materials, and installation processes.
- Manage jobsite logistics, materials, and equipment needs.
- Travel to various project locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in CIPP installation, trenchless rehabilitation, underground utilities, or heavy civil construction.
- Previous experience leading CIPP crews preferred.
- Strong understanding of CIPP installation processes and equipment.
- Ability to read project plans and specifications.
- Proven leadership and crew management skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to travel extensively and work extended hours when needed.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a CIPP Superintendent, General Foreman, or Senior Foreman.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Confined space certification.
- CDL is a plus.
- Experience operating CIPP equipment and installation systems.
Work Schedule
- 10 days on / 4 days off rotation schedule
- This is a field-based position. Employees report directly to assigned project locations and may travel throughout the region based on project needs.
