Position Overview
Nu-Pipe is seeking a CIPP Installation Technician to join our field operations team supporting trenchless pipe rehabilitation projects. This role assists with the installation of Cured-In-Place Pipe systems and performs hands-on construction activities at project sites.
The ideal candidate has construction, utility, underground, or mechanical experience and enjoys working outdoors as part of a skilled field team. CIPP experience is preferred but not required.
What You'll Do
- Assist with CIPP liner installation and rehabilitation activities.
- Prepare job sites and equipment for installation.
- Perform pipe cleaning, preparation, and finishing work.
- Operate hand tools, pumps, generators, and other construction equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials.
- Support equipment setup and breakdown.
- Perform general construction labor tasks.
- Follow instructions from Foremen and Superintendents.
- Maintain safe work practices and jobsite cleanliness.
- Complete required documentation and inspections.
- Travel to project locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Construction, utility, mechanical, or underground experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment.
- Willingness to learn CIPP installation techniques.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous CIPP experience.
- Pipe installation or rehabilitation experience.
- Heavy equipment experience.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- CDL is a plus.
Work Schedule
- 10 days on / 4 days off rotation schedule
- This is a field-based position. Employees report directly to assigned project locations and may travel throughout the region based on project needs.
