Shelter Works | Production Department
Shelter Works is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Chop Technician to join our production team. This role plays a key part in manufacturing high‑quality fiberglass products used in the wastewater industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production drawings and verify mold setup dimensions
- Prepare fiberglass materials and adjust chop gun settings
- Apply fiberglass chop and laminate parts according to company standards
- Roll and laminate parts to ensure strength and quality
- Safely operate tools, equipment, machinery, and forklift (certification required)
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Report to work reliably and on time and complete full scheduled shifts
Pay, Benefits, and Perks
- $1,500 sign‑on bonus after 90 days
- Annual bonus program
- 2 weeks vacation during Years 1–4, 3 weeks after Year 4
- Paid shutdown between Christmas and New Year's
