Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing customer orders from purchase order through shipment. This role serves as the primary customer contact and coordinates project requirements with engineering, CAD, production, and supply chain while maintaining a working understanding of the company's products, drawings, and specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are not limited to:
- Manage projects from purchase order through shipment and closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution
- Interpret customer specifications and project requirements
- Coordinate development and approval of submittal drawings and engineered documents with the CAD team and external parties
- Review submittal documentation to confirm project scope and customer requirements are accurately represented
- Identify and resolve project issues through coordination with engineering, production, and supply chain
- Manage project schedules and scope changes as required
- Participate in project kickoff meetings to align engineering, production, and customer requirements
- Perform design conformance inspections of finished products when required
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Coordinate resolution of customer complaints and warranty issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred and 3–7 years of project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments. Experience in reading construction drawings preferred. Strong attention to detail is a must.
Computer Skills:
Strong computer skills including: QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and ACT!
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret working drawings and specifications. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Skilled communications. Client management skills.
Mathematical / Analytical Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Knowledge of basic electrical calculation, applicable codes and standards, rules and regulations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to determine alternate project scopes.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
