Route Driver 

Sheehan Brothers Vending Service is looking for a full-time Route Driver.  This position will be responsible for servicing customer’s vending and micro markets.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Unload and stock product at each customer location in designated geographic zone 

• Remove outdated products (to clear the next date the driver will be at the customer location) 

• Drive box truck to assigned customer accounts 

• Manage inventory of all vending machines and micro markets using mobile app 

• Retrieve cash from vending machines and kiosks 

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers 

• Daily use of mobile app to provide feedback, photos and manage route 

• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Background Check 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 

• Maintain cleanliness of company-provided vehicle 

• All other duties as assigned

Days/Hours: 

• Monday—Friday, plus Saturdays if required by route 

• Hours and days vary by route 

• Routes average 45 hours per week 

• Flexible Daily Start Time: 9:00pm – 6:00am depending on Customers schedule. (Target time 2am to 4:30am.) 

• When training, you follow the trainers schedule. Once you get your own route, you can set your own start time based on customers needs.  

Pay: 

• Bi-weekly Pay 

• Starting On-the-Job Training Pay - $950 per week ($1900 per pay) 

• Post-Training Pay – Commission-Based (Current route average is between $60,000-$70,000 annually) 

• Holiday Weeks will vary on pay and are generally lower than normal. 

Attendance: 

• Sheehan Brothers operates on a Point system.  

• .25 of a point for 1 minute to 1 hour late. 

• .50 for 1-4 hours late or leave early 

• 1.0 for a whole day (or anything over 4) 

• .5 additional point if you do not contact your Supervisor 12 hours prior to the start of your shift. (Target time 6pm the night before to eliminate the extra .5 pt) 

Education/Experience Requirements: 

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required 

•  Valid driver’s license required (No moving violations in the past 12 months, points on license will be reviewed as well as any DUI’s) 

• No previous industry experience necessary 

Work Environment:   

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; hot and/or cold conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
