REPAIR TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Shop Tech to join our dynamic Repair team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of technical systems and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and refurbishes machines as needed
• Inspect machines to make sure they are working properly
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems as needed
• Conduct repairs and adjustments on machine operations
• Inspect and prepare new machines and equipment
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Requirements:

· High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

· 6 months of experience working with electrical systems

· Valid Drivers License

Physical Demands:

They use their hands continuously while performing all job duties. Most of the activities involve fine and gross manipulation of items. They must be able to frequently stand, kneel, squat, bend, climb, and lift over their heads. They must be able to exchange accurate information with other individuals in the shop and field. Must be able to detect mechanical issues and part defects from short distances to determine what action needs to be taken. They must regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally push, pull and move up to 100 pounds. The individual must be capable of carrying and loading and unloading different products.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; hot and/or cold conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
