Summary:
Sheehan Brothers Vending Service is looking for a full-time Commissary Worker. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of food preparation duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware
- Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage
- Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly
- Carry food supplies, equipment and utensils to and from storage and work areas
- Portion and wrap food
- Read charts to determine amount and kind of foods and supplies to be packaged
- Packaging food in route cooler
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40lbs.
- All other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred but not required
