What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics / Engineering Technology Instructors (2) position at Shawsheen Valley Voc Tech District?
Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is seeking Electronics and/or Engineering Technology Instructors for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates must have a 9-14 Electronics license, a 9-14 Electronics/Engineering Technology license, or possess the requirements to become licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. In this role, the qualified candidate would develop and deliver Electronics and/or Engineering Technology lessons to high school students enrolled in grades 9 through 12. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in all phases of electronic devices, programmable logic controllers (PLC’s), mechanical principles, electronic equipment design, testing and troubleshooting. Previous teaching experience preferred with a focus on training and mentoring students to learn the skills and competencies necessary to be successful in the Electronics and/or Engineering Technology industry. Massachusetts SEI Endorsement preferred.
