What are the responsibilities and job description for the ISSN / Programming and Web Instructor position at Shawsheen Valley Voc Tech District?
Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica, Massachusetts, is currently accepting applications for an anticipated opening for an Information Support Services & Networking (ISSN) and/or Programming and Web Development Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates must be licensed as a Massachusetts Information Support Services & Networking (ISSN) and/or Programming and Web Development Instructor or possess the qualifications to become licensed. In this role the qualified candidate would develop and deliver information support services & networking and/or programming and web development lessons to high school students enrolled in grades 9 through 12. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in all phases of installation, repair and troubleshooting of computer systems, Microsoft applications, Apple and Linus OS, networking design and installation, cybersecurity practices, website design and video game development. Previous teaching experience preferred with a focus on training and mentoring students to learn the skills and competencies necessary to be successful in the information support services & networking and/or programming and web development industry. Massachusetts SEI Endorsement preferred.
