Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Coordinator (Mechanical Systems) to support and coordinate domestic and international service operations. This role combines service coordination with hands-on mechanical work, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation of equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical expertise, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and service teams
- Coordinate and manage service requests to ensure timely and professional execution
- Schedule and dispatch technicians based on availability and client needs
- Provide clients with updates on service status, timelines, and scheduling changes
- Travel to customer sites to perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and installation
- Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical systems and components
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and client communications
- Assist in developing SOPs and service-related documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve service issues independently or with internal support
- Identify opportunities to improve service processes and customer satisfaction
- Generate reports on service activity, technician performance, and client feedback
- Travel domestically and internationally (approximately 35% to 50%)
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in field service operations, service coordination, or related role
- Hands-on mechanical experience working with tools, machinery, and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems
- Excellent customer service and client relationship management skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) practices
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Valid passport required

- Ability to travel frequently, including international travel
