Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Service Manager to lead domestic and international field service operations. This role combines hands-on mechanical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including managing teams, vendors, and customer escalations, while ensuring safe and high-quality service delivery for global clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage field service teams across multiple regions
- Oversee daily field operations, scheduling, and escalations
- Own SOPs, service quality, EH&S, and performance metrics
- Serve as senior point of contact for key clients and service issues
- Manage and negotiate with third-party service vendors and contractors
- Drive process improvements, documentation, and training initiatives
- Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Sales teams
- Travel domestically and internationally (10–30%)
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in field service operations
- 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong hands-on mechanical background
- Experience managing vendors and service contracts
- Proven ability to lead distributed teams
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Physical Qualifications
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Ability to perform hands-on mechanical work when needed
Work Environment / Schedule
- Combination of field-based work and team oversight
- Domestic and international travel required (10–30%)
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
