About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Communications & Brand Specialist to join our client's team in the cleantech sector. In this role, you will contribute to developing compelling narratives, managing social media platforms, and leading design initiatives to enhance our client's brand presence and strategic positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's content and narrative strategy.
- Draft press releases, investor materials, and media outreach content.
- Create thought leadership content positioning the company as a category leader.
- Manage and activate all social media platforms with consistent, trend-aware content.
- Create investor pitch decks, board presentations, and customer-facing presentations.
- Lead the design and maintenance of the company website.
- Monitor competitor messaging and track industry trends to refine brand positioning.
Requirements:
- 5 years in marketing, communications, or brand strategy (startup experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated experience creating presentation decks in PowerPoint/Keynote and modern design tools (Figma, Canva).
- Proven ability to write for multiple audiences: C-suite, investors, customers, media, social.
- Social media platform expertise with evidence of growing audiences or engagement metrics.
- Website design/management experience (CMS proficiency, basic HTML/CSS knowledge a plus).
- Strong understanding of SaaS, enterprise tech, energy, or cleantech markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B marketing for hardware, manufacturing, or industrial products.
- Video production or motion graphics skills.
- Investor relations or IR communications experience.
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design platforms.
- Email marketing and marketing automation platform experience.
