Lab Technician
Area: R&D / Life Science
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Work Type: Onsite
About the role:
The Lab Technician supports research and development activities by performing laboratory tests, experiments, and documentation in accordance with established protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing, sample preparation, and routine experiments
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality procedures
- Support data collection and preliminary analysis
- Assist scientists and researchers with ongoing R&D activities
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience
- Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and safety practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated laboratory environments
- Familiarity with GLP and laboratory documentation standards
