A fast-growing design and manufacturing company specializing in consumer products is looking for an experienced Industrial / Mechanical Engineer to scale and improve its next-generation production lines. The company combines technology, simplicity, and beautiful design to deliver products customers love — and is investing heavily in smarter, more efficient manufacturing.

About the Role

This position focuses on developing, optimizing, and scaling global manufacturing processes. You will transform product designs into robust, repeatable production systems while reducing cost and improving quality. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, factory partners, and internal engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end manufacturing process across global partners.
• Onboard and support new production sites, ensuring stable daily operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and resolve production issues rapidly.
• Design and implement manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, and light automation.
• Support new product launches from prototype to full-scale production.
• Analyze data to drive cost reduction and process optimization.
• The position requires on-site visits to production facilities approximately 25–30% of the time.

Requirements

• BSc in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, QA/QC, or production development.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and supplier management.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion, or Onshape).
• Analytical and hands-on mindset with excellent execution skills.
• Self-driven and effective in remote work environments.
• Interest in sustainable and design-focused consumer products is a plus.
