Analysis Technician ( 2 available shifts, 1st Shift and 2nd shift)
Pay Rate: $26/hour
Duration: Immediate start through the end of the year (possible extensions)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Analysis Technician to perform board-level analysis of failed 2-way subscriber products (mobile and portable radios). The role involves testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic assemblies to determine root causes of failures. This is an opportunity to apply technical expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze rejected electronic assemblies using test equipment, simulators, and troubleshooting skills
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems, define corrective actions, and communicate findings effectively
- Identify vendor versus process defects and write detailed failure analysis reports
- Record data of failures and provide clear diagnoses
- Work independently and adapt to varying conditions
- Support factory operations on weekends as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in electronics testing or RF systems
- Proficiency in operating electronics test equipment: signal generators, modulation/audio analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for component-level troubleshooting is a PLUS
- Knowledge of 2-way subscriber products is a PLUS
- Strong electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- 100% onsite presence required
- Steel-toe boots mandatory
Additional Requirements
- Orientation starts at 6:30 AM
- Temporary badge provided; must be added to DSM, GL, and KL
- Immediate start; potential contract extension based on performance and business needs
- Interview: 30-minute, virtual via Google Meet or onsite (candidate preference listed in resume/comments)
- Safety-sensitive: Able to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted, 50 lbs in a team lift
