Key Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology RN
- Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patient status, assess and manage complications, and provide post-procedure care
- Administer medications and document patient progress accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
Requirements
- Active MA RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
