Key Responsibilities of the Travel RN
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ clinical conditions
- Recognise changes in patient status and respond appropriately
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
- Monitor vital signs and other relevant clinical observations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery
- Promote safe, compassionate, patient-centred care throughout each shift
Requirements of the Travel RN
- Active Missouri RN License
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous PCU or progressive care nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills
