We are seeking a General Manager to lead a high-performing home services business in Fort Lauderdale. The location has a strong plumbing base that is tracking to budget for 2026, alongside a newer HVAC operation that is slightly behind plan but positioned for significant growth.
Role Summary
This is a key leadership role for an experienced operator who understands how to scale a residential services business. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in home services, with a particular focus on HVAC growth, operational discipline, and building leadership capability across a multi-service platform.
The role will spend most of its time focused on accelerating HVAC performance, while maintaining strong execution across the broader business. There is also potential to support tuck-in acquisitions as part of the longer-term growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall performance of the Fort Lauderdale location.
- Focus on scaling the HVAC business while supporting the established plumbing operation.
- Manage and develop 5 direct reports.
- Drive operational efficiency, service quality, and team accountability.
- Support integration and execution around future tuck-in acquisitions.
- Partner closely with the Regional Operations Director on strategy and performance.
- Maintain momentum in a confidential, growth-oriented environment.
Ideal Background
- Proven leadership experience in home services, HVAC, plumbing, or adjacent residential trades.
- Strong operating background in a build-and-scale environment.
- Experience leading teams through growth, integration, and process improvement.
- Comfortable balancing day-to-day execution with longer-term scaling priorities.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to lead through both stability and growth.
Compensation
- Base salary: $170,000–$200,000
- Bonus: 50%
- LTIP: $400,000 target
