Administrative Assistant
SET Cleaning is a locally owned, woman-led company proudly serving Central Virginia for over 27 years. We specialize in creating clean, comfortable spaces for busy families and small businesses.
We are looking for a highly capable, proactive Administrative Assistant who will work directly with the President and play a key role in helping organize, streamline, and support the day-to-day operations of the business.
Position Overview
This role directly supports the President and will help remove operational bottlenecks by organizing processes, improving systems, and driving follow-through across the business.
The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can take ownership of tasks and projects, think independently, and execute without needing constant direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the President, including communication, scheduling, and follow-up
- Take ownership of tasks and projects and see them through to completion
- Help document, organize, and improve company procedures and workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve operations
- Manage and maintain CRM systems and operational platforms
- Coordinate scheduling, client communication, and internal follow-up
- Support onboarding, documentation, and administrative processes
- Act as a liaison between leadership, staff, and external contacts
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting leadership, business owners, or senior-level staff preferred
- Proven ability to think independently and solve problems without constant direction
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and operational tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability

Compensation
- Hourly range: approximately $20/hour /- depending on experience
- Bonus plan available after the employee is acclimated to the position
- Strong candidates with higher-level experience may be considered for expanded responsibilities
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
