SKCDC is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our administrative team to fill the following position in its Early Care and Education Program:
Support Services Information Specialist
This position is a full year 30 hour per week position, Monday-Friday. Responsible for maintaining child records and information to ensure accurate, efficient collection, entry and reporting of data.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED/HiSet Diploma.
An Associate's Degree in health care or social services is a plus.
Experience And Skill Requirements
Prior related experience working directly with medical information and data entry required.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to effectively work in a multi-task environment as part of a professional team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to organize tasks, be flexible and work independently.
Possess a high level of skills and proficiency in computer applications, word processing and data entry.
Must be reliable and dependable.
Must have knowledge of computer applications relative to the software utilized by the Agency and a general knowledge of computer functions.
Must possess a valid Maine driver’s license with a good driving record and must have an adequately insured vehicle, if conducting Agency business.
