Sales Representative
Service Metal is a nationwide Master Distributor serving the pipe fitting and valve industry. Our sales team plays a critical role in driving growth, building customer relationships, and delivering accurate, responsive service that sets us apart. We are hiring experienced Sales Representatives (Inside Sales) who can take ownership of customer relationships, respond quickly to opportunities, and contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented environment.
This is an in-office position that may be able to transition to remote role, after training is completed.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to Requests for Quote (RFQs) quickly and accurately
- Translate customer needs into detailed, competitive sales quotations
- Process sales orders with a high level of accuracy and urgency
- Develop new business and grow existing customer relationships
- Determine customer potential and apply strategic pricing
- Maintain strong product knowledge and act as a trusted resource for customers
- Represent Service Metal with professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of sales or customer-facing experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
- High level of organization and follow-through
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
