About the Supports Coordinator Supervisor Role
As a Supports Coordinator Supervisor within our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) team, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families throughout their lifespan by ensuring high-quality, person-centered coordination of services. Supports Coordinator Supervisor Core Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Supports Coordinators and promote best practices in service delivery
- Review case documentation and service plans to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff
- Attend provider and Administrative Entity meetings to advocate for quality services
- Offer caseload coverage when needed and support onboarding for new team members
- Maintain positive relationships with individuals served, their families, and providers
- Foster a team culture grounded in SAM’s mission, vision, and values
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Gerontology, Criminal Justice, or a related human services field
- At least two years of experience as a Supports Coordinator or equivalent human services experience (total of 6 years including education/experience with required college coursework)
- Ability to lead and support a team with professionalism and empathy
- Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed service
- Reliable transportation

Location & Schedule
This position is based in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Work is primarily community-based with some remote flexibility.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
