Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of activity programs, including planning, organizing, and leading events and activities for residents
Provide support to activity directors and other staff members as needed
Engage with residents in activities, providing companionship and socialization opportunities
Assist with daily tasks, such as serving meals, helping with meals, and providing general assistance
Participate in fundraising activities and special events to support resident programming
Maintain accurate records and reports of activity attendance, participation, and resident feedback
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and programs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
Previous experience in long-term care, gerontology, or a related field preferred
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, bend, and move up to 50 pounds
Pass pre-employment background check and TB test
