We are currently seeking an experienced Development Director to join our team. The Development Director is a leadership level position responsible for overseeing all aspects of fundraising within the organization. This role requires strategic thinking and leadership skills to drive the agency’s fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and executing a strategic fundraising plan that supports the agency’s mission and goals.
- Leading and managing the development and marketing team, providing guidance and support to staff members.
- Engaging with the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership to align fundraising strategies with organizational priorities.
- Overseeing major gift solicitations and ensuring proper stewardship of donors.
- Monitoring fundraising trends and adjusting strategies as needed to maximize revenue.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- A minimum of five years’ related experience in comparable or progressively responsible position.
- Experience in fundraising, with a focus on major gifts and capital campaigns desired.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporate partners.
- Experience in a management role in a complex agency with a budget of no less than 5 million dollars.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
