Position Title: VMware VDI Senior Consultant

Location: Quantico, VA

Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret Clearance required

Position Status: Contract - W2

Pay Rate: Upto $95/hr on W2 - Based on Experience

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware VDI Senior Consultant to join our consulting services delivery team. In this role, you will lead complex, customer-facing engagements focused on designing and implementing advanced VMware solutions for enterprise clients. You will provide end-to-end technical leadership from architecture and procurement to deployment—across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

This position requires strong technical acumen, exceptional client-facing skills, and the ability to translate business challenges into scalable VMware solutions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of VMware solutions for enterprise clients.
• Provide architectural consultation and recommend technology stacks for scalable, flexible environments.
• Deliver end-to-end technical responsibility for VMware projects, including VDI implementation, testing, and training.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Communicate VMware solution value propositions and competitive advantages to clients.
• Ensure successful knowledge transfer and client enablement post-deployment.

Required Skills/Education:

• 10 years of enterprise consulting experience with expertise in VMware architecture and implementation.
• VDI Implementation, Test and Knowledge Transfer (Customer expecting training)
• Proven experience delivering and scaling complex infrastructure solutions across diverse platforms.
• Strong proficiency in VMware technologies: VCF, NSX-T, vSAN, Aria, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, Tanzu, Kubernetes.
• Experience with VMware XaaS platforms and architectural best practices.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Active DoD Clearance required; ability to travel 50–75% domestically.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of load balancing technologies and network VDI configurations.
• Proficiency in data center products across storage, compute, and network.
