Position Description:
Seneca Resources is seeking a Customer Support Technician to join a long-term government project in Tallahassee, FL. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about IT support, customer service, and troubleshooting. You’ll provide Tier I technical support in a call center environment, helping users resolve access, software, and connectivity issues efficiently and professionally.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving and ensuring a positive customer experience. This is an onsite, full-time position offering stability, growth, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting state operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide remote Tier I technical support for password resets, access issues, and software troubleshooting.
- Document all work performed and resolutions in the ITSM ticketing system.
- Manage incoming requests, create support tickets, and escalate issues when required.
- Support account activations, role assignments, and password resets within ISA Utility.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and technician records.
- Serve as a key communication point for agency-wide IT support.
Required Skills & Education:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience:
- 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience.
- 1 year of hands-on experience troubleshooting software, hardware, network connections, or account access preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and Outlook in a networked environment.
- Familiarity with desktop hardware, operating systems, and network fundamentals.
- Experience with ITSM or other ticketing systems a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
