What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician (Third Shift - 10pm - 8am) position at Semblex?
Duties:
- Maintain and repair equipment as directed by supervisor or Maintenance Mechanic.
- Assist mechanics as required.
- Understand, operate, and maintain all maintenance and repair equipment for proper operation.
- Understand and perform preventive maintenance.
- Understand inventory controls for inventory accuracy.
- Understand 5S and maintain good housekeeping.
Qualifications:
Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1-2 years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills: Must be able to read blueprints, have knowledge of proper use of hand tools, lifting devices, and safety systems work.
Additional Qualifications: Mechanical Aptitude, Familiarity with tools, Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, Ability to handle physical workload, Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
