Lawn Technician

Position Summary

Stellar Property Maintenance is seeking a dependable and hardworking Equipment Technician to operate specialized lawn care equipment and company vehicles. This role is responsible for performing aeration and dethatching services while safely transporting equipment using a company pickup truck. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, operates equipment safely, and provides excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial lawn aerators and dethatchers safely and efficiently.
• Drive a company pickup truck to customer properties throughout the service area.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment between job sites.
• Complete scheduled aeration and dethatching services according to company standards.
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws while operating company vehicles.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers.
• Complete assigned routes efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Assist with other lawn care and landscaping duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a pickup truck with attached equipment or trailer (preferred).
• Experience operating commercial lawn equipment is preferred but training is available.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently walk, stand, bend, push, and pull equipment.
• Lift and carry equipment and materials up to 75 pounds.
• Work outdoors for extended periods in hot, cold, and wet weather.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
