Pay Rate- $76.12/hr on W2
JD:
We are looking for a Senior Engineer who can build intuitive developer interfaces while ensuring the underlying infrastructure is automated, secure, and scalable. And to help us create, modify, and modernize applications for our internal customers.
Responsibilities
- Execute full software development life (SDLC) cycle within an agile environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure systems to support business applications and services.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Python, JS/React , Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Ansible tower).
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure (OpenShift) and optimize resources for reliability, performance, and security.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and reliability through proactive alerting, metrics, and incident response.
- CI/CD pipelines : Partner with development teams to build seamless deployment workflows via GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins, ensuring code moves to production safely and quickly.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents, document findings, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
- Continuously improve system architecture, deployment processes, and tooling to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure security best practices are applied across infrastructure, including access controls, network configurations, and compliance requirements.
- Effectively communicate to stakeholders and project team members to ensure proper visibility into development efforts
- Ability to respond to the customer's tickets and inquiries
- Monitor system health through advanced metrics and alerting; lead incident response efforts to maintain strict uptime SLAs.
Required skills
- 5 years of experience with Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, etc)
- 5 years of experience delivering enterprise software applications
- 5 years in JS/React , Angular JS, Node.js & Ansible
- 5 years experience in Cloud Service development, compute engineering, automation, architecture and implementation on AWS.
- 3 years of experience in OpenShift.
- Expert in GitLab/GitHub CI/CD
- Strong RHEL / Linux SysAdmin skills
- Experience with Backstage plugins
- Advanced SQL & DB Coding.
- Experience with the full SDLC
- Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc)
- Advance knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc)

- They won't need to be Linux admins, they should have general knowledge of administration skills so that when clusters are deployed, they can debug
