Key Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Manage full lifecycle (“cradle‑to‑grave”) execution of facilities, construction, and capital improvement projects.
- Develop and maintain scopes of work, schedules, budgets, long‑term project plans, and funding requests.
- Lead project controls activities including cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, documentation, and reporting.
- Interface daily with plant stakeholders: engineering, maintenance, operations, supply chain, controls, finance, and leadership.
- Source, contract, manage, and coordinate suppliers and external contractors.
- Prepare and deliver project presentations to leadership, including authorization and funding approvals.
- Conduct field walkdowns and plant observations for risk mitigation, constructability, and issue resolution.
- Support risk management, quality assurance, safety compliance, and nuclear regulatory expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5–7 years of facilities, construction, utility, power plant, or commercial nuclear power project management experience.
- Demonstrated success managing projects > $5Million
- Strong financial acumen and experience with project controls and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK (Waterfall/Predictive) methodologies.
- Ability to obtain unescorted nuclear access, which includes:
- Federal background investigation
- Fitness‑for‑Duty testing (drug & alcohol)
- Compliance with NRC Access Authorization requirements
- Construction or Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Nuclear) from an ABET‑accredited program.
- Commercial nuclear or utility/power plant experience.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle Unifier, Workday/UKG, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
- PMP certification strongly preferred (not required).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative mindset within a highly supportive, cross‑functional team environment.
- Problem‑solving, risk awareness, and disciplined follow‑through essential for nuclear work.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple active projects.
