Senior Accountant
Location: Greenwich, CT

Salary: $90,000-115,000/year
Client/Job Summary:
Our client is a leading commodity trading company. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the accounting functions and oversee financial reporting and compliance. This person will also support the audits and other reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain the general ledger including cash, AR/AP, fixed assets, etc.
- Ensure timely invoice and payment processing.
- Stay updated with reporting requirements and regulations.
- Assist with external audits, respond to inquiries, and review documentation.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants.
Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
- 4 years of accounting/audit experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, financial statement preparation, quarter close processes.
