What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP, Marketing and Communications, Office of the CEO (Investment Bank) position at Selby Jennings?
Our client is a leading, independent investment bank based in New York, specialized in advising on M&A, capital advisory, and restructurings in over a dozen industries. As a part of the CEO's strategic plans for the new year, the team is looking to bring on a VP-level business development and project management professional to support the CEO in his networking and visibility enhancement efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with an external PR agency to execute the CEO's strategy for meetings, events, and participation in industry organizations in an effort to generate business leads
- Help the CEO with follow-up strategies s it relates to communications, coordinating follow-up meetings and future events
- Track all activities and engagements in a CRM system
- Secondarily support senior bankers in their marketing and communications activities
Requirements:
- MBA preferred
- Ideally 5-7 years of previous experience working closely with executive leadership in a marketing/communications capacity
- Previous experience in investment banking, investment management, or fintech is preferred
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
