Job Title: Natural Gas Scheduler

Job Overview:
Our client is a leading global commodities merchant with extensive operations across energy, metals, and agricultural markets. The firm is active across the physical commodity value chain, including sourcing, transportation, storage, logistics, and marketing, and is looking to add a Natural Gas Scheduler to support its growing North American gas business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule daily and monthly natural gas nominations across multiple interstate pipeline and storage systems.
- Coordinate closely with commercial, trading, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of physical gas transactions.
- Monitor pipeline activity, operational notices, maintenance events, and flow orders that may impact scheduling activities.
- Track receipts, deliveries, allocations, and imbalances while ensuring compliance with pipeline requirements.
- Identify operational and transportation optimization opportunities and communicate findings to the commercial team.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and support month-end invoicing, settlements, and accounting processes.
- Work across a diverse portfolio of pipeline assets throughout the West, Rockies, MidCon, and Midwest regions.
- Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of natural gas scheduling experience.
- Experience working with major interstate pipelines and storage assets.
- Exposure to markets in the West, Rockies, MidCon, and/or Upper Midwest is preferred.
- Strong understanding of nominations, confirmations, balancing, and pipeline operations.
- Experience with gas transaction management systems such as Endur, CXL, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced physical trading and marketing environment.
