Our client is a growing alternative investment manager focused on real assets with several hundred million dollars under management. The firm offers investors access to differentiated investment strategies through a combination of open-ended and closed-end fund structures.
As the platform continues to expand, they are seeking a Business Development Associate to support fundraising and investor outreach efforts. This individual will play a key role in identifying prospective investors, developing new relationships, and supporting the firm's broader capital formation initiatives. The position offers direct exposure to senior leadership, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing platform.
The Business Development Associate Will Be Responsible For:
- Identifying, researching, and cultivating prospective investor relationships
- Supporting capital raising and fundraising initiatives across the firm's investment strategies
- Developing and managing a pipeline of prospective investors through proactive outreach
- Attending investor meetings, conferences, and industry events
- Traveling regularly to build relationships and generate new business opportunities
- Assisting with investor presentations, fundraising materials, and communication efforts
- Collaborating closely with senior leadership on business development strategy
- Contributing to the firm's long-term growth by sourcing and developing new investor relationships
The Business Development Associate Should Have:
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, fundraising, investor relations, wealth management, financial advisory, sales, or a related client-facing role
- A strong interest in alternative investments, private markets, real assets, or investment management
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to work within a growing, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to proactively source and develop new opportunities
- Willingness to travel regularly as part of a relationship-driven role
- Existing investor relationships are a plus but not required

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
