What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sectional Warper Operator - 3rd Shift position at Seiren North America, LLC?
This position is responsible to operate the sectional warper machines in the warping department. May also be responsible to operate the direct warping machines. This position is 3rd shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for loading yarn onto the creel and tying in as needed. Stripping and/or repacking yarn.
- Responsible for setting up the warping machine according to the SOP for the appropriate style.
- Responsible to wind yarn onto the drum then beam the warped yarn onto empty beams.
- Responsible for keeping the warper running consistently by warping required sections, fixing end breaks, etc.
- Responsible for drawing ends through eyeboard, flat and lease reeds.
- Responsible for reloading yarn on the creel as needed to keep the warper running.
- Responsible for filling out checklist at the beginning of shift and checking each item with the warper to ensure proper functionality.
- Responsible for keeping the area around the warper head and creel clean.
- Responsible for letting the Team Leader/Supervisor know of any performance/productivity issues with the warper.
- Responsible for entering correct data for each warp into the computer after warp is complete and beamed.
- Responsible for checking quality and notifying Team Leader/Supervisor of any quality issues.
- Perform other duties as requested by the warping Team Leader/Supervisor of the Warping Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Somewhat important to have good written & verbal communication skills
- Somewhat important to have low-level decision-making skills
- Very important to have good organizational skills and the ability to work well
- without close supervision.
- Very important to have basic mathematical ability.
- Important to have good analysis/problem solving skills.
- Somewhat important to have basic computer skills.
