- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Mill, Lathes, Grinders and other precision equipment by following documented procedures and technical drawings to produce high quality machined parts that meet blueprint specifications.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines (lathes, verticals, horizontals, and 5-axis).
- Align and secure fixtures to machine tables or tombstones.
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment including DMG Mori, Kitamura, Okuma, Haas, Hurco, and Citizen machines.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce precision components.
- Monitor machining processes and perform in-process inspections to ensure quality.
- Interface with Quality Assurance personnel regarding inspection criteria and results.
- Perform in-process inspections on production parts.
- Provide feedback to programming and supervision regarding cycle times, program accuracy, and suggest changes to improve productivity and part accuracy.
- Conform to all requirements of the Quality System and any customer quality requirements
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S standards.
- Experience as a CNC machinist, with set up skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Okuma OSP controls a plus.
- Must have standard machinist’s tools and toolbox.
- Familiarity with inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and safety-first mindset.
