Vice President of Revenue Management
The Vice President of Revenue Management is a senior leader responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and competitive positioning through pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. This role owns day-to-day pricing and inventory decisions and leads the development and execution of revenue strategies across all products, channels, and customer segments.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute overall revenue management strategy, including pricing, inventory control, and demand optimization
- Provide data-driven insights on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning
- Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives and long-term strategy
Pricing & Optimization
- Develop and manage dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, and performance trends
- Oversee pricing structures across all offerings, distribution channels, and customer segments
- Lead promotions, segmentation strategies, and targeted campaigns to increase revenue and conversion
Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Own annual budgeting and ongoing revenue forecasting, including core and ancillary revenue streams
- Set revenue targets by market, product, and channel
- Improve forecast accuracy through analytics and cross-functional alignment
Product & Commercial Strategy
- Lead pricing and lifecycle management of products and offerings across digital platforms
- Increase customer lifetime value through loyalty and upsell initiatives
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT to align revenue strategies
- Ensure effective execution of pricing and promotional strategies
Required Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in pricing, revenue optimization, and forecasting
- Solid financial acumen and budgeting experience
- Deep understanding of market trends, segmentation, and competitive analysis
Technical Skills
- CRM systems & Reservation systems
- Data analytics and reporting tools / Financial modeling and forecasting tools
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Hospitality, or related field (required)
- MBA or advanced degree (preferred)
- 10 years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or commercial strategy
