Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Miami, FL
A growing, multi-location organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team in Miami. This is a highly visible role that will partner with Finance and operational leadership to provide financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines a strong FP&A foundation with advanced analytical capabilities and the ability to work with large datasets. Power BI and SQL experience are key requirements for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and periodic reforecasting processes across multiple business units and locations.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting packages.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, operating performance, and key business drivers.
- Develop and maintain financial models used for forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Partner with operational leaders to understand performance trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable financial insights.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI.
- Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources.
- Develop KPI reporting and identify trends across locations, customers, products/services, and other business segments.
- Improve and automate existing financial reporting and analytical processes.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and presentations for senior leadership.
- Support data integrity and help ensure consistency between financial and operational reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance function.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling experience.
- Hands-on Power BI experience required.
- SQL experience required, including the ability to query and analyze financial and operational data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working within a multi-location, operationally complex, or service-oriented organization preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
