Segrera Associates is recruiting a Commercial Banking Officer on behalf of a well-established community bank in the North Orlando, FL area. This organization has a strong presence in the local market, an experienced leadership team, and an excellent track record of employee tenure and stability.
This role is fully on-site in the North Orlando, FL area. Candidates must have established commercial banking experience within the Orlando market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an established commercial loan portfolio across C&I and Commercial Real Estate lending.
- Develop new commercial banking relationships while expanding existing client relationships.
- Evaluate and underwrite new credit opportunities, including financial statement and cash flow analysis.
- Structure commercial lending solutions based on client needs, credit quality, and overall risk profile.
- Manage existing credits while maintaining appropriate underwriting standards, risk ratings, and loan documentation.
- Partner closely with credit and executive leadership throughout the underwriting and approval process.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through deposits, treasury/cash management, and other banking solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with business owners, commercial real estate clients, and other professionals throughout the Orlando market.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Established commercial banking/lending experience within the Orlando market required.
- Strong C&I lending background required; candidates with exclusively CRE lending experience will not be considered.
- Experience managing a meaningful commercial loan portfolio across both C&I and CRE.
- Strong underwriting experience with the ability to analyze financial statements, business cash flow, and credit risk.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term commercial client relationships.
- Experience within either a community/regional bank or larger financial institution will be considered.
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and business development skills.
