Accounts Receivable Manager

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the day-to-day account's receivable function. This role will be responsible for managing billing, collections, cash application, account reconciliations, and AR reporting while leading the team and ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts receivable operations, including billing, collections, and cash application
- Lead, train, and support AR team members
- Monitor aging reports and drive collection efforts on outstanding balances
- Review customer accounts and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Oversee cash application and ensure payments are posted accurately and timely
- Perform and review account reconciliations
- Establish and monitor credit and collection procedures
- Partner with internal departments to resolve customer account issues
- Prepare AR reporting and provide updates on aging, collections, and key metrics
- Support month-end close and related accounting activities
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and strengthen internal controls
- Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- 5 years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
