This role offers flexibility with at least 3 days a week in the office.

- Asbestos / Toxic Tort Defense
- Products Liability Defense
- General Liability & Insurance Defense, including: Premises Liability and other complex liability matters
- Meaningful responsibility – support attorneys with cases from inception through resolution or trial
- Direct attorney collaboration – work closely with seasoned trial attorneys
- Sophisticated matters – assist with national clients, including Fortune 500 companies

- Assist attorneys with day-to-day case management and litigation support
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses
- Coordinate and manage document production, including e-discovery
- Conduct factual and legal research under attorney supervision
- Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness files
- Track deadlines and maintain litigation calendars to ensure compliance with court rules
- Prepare client and insurance carrier reports and correspondence
- Support attorneys during mediations, arbitrations, and hearings
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
- 2 year of experience supporting civil defense litigation, including: Drafting and managing pleadings and discovery; Document review and production; Litigation calendaring and deadline management
- Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines efficiently
- Professional and confident communication skills
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience with asbestos, toxic tort, products liability, or insurance defense is a plus
- Familiarity with mediations and arbitrations is a plus
