What You’ll Do
As part of our Florida Insurance Defense team, you will manage a broad range of matters, including:
- General civil litigation and insurance defense
- Construction defect litigation
- Premises liability
- Transportation and trucking defense
- Professional liability
- Catastrophic injury cases
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
- Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
- Managing discovery and case strategy
- Attending hearings, mediations, and pre-trial conferences
- Communicating directly with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
- Assisting with trial preparation and participating in trial as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed to practice law in Florida (required)
- 3 years of experience in insurance defense and general civil litigation
- Experience with construction defect, premises liability, and professional liability preferred
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven ability to handle discovery, motion practice, and depositions independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team-oriented with a proactive, client-focused approach
