POSITION: Shipping/Receiving & Saw Operator
JOB LOCATION: Grafton, WI
STARTING DATE: Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM: Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT): 1st Shift
STARTING PAY: $18.00–$25.00/hour (Potential for more based on experience)
BENEFITS: Weekly pay, voluntary overtime, on-the-job training, and the opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team with long-term career potential.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred. Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, blueprint reading, or saw operation is a plus, but the client is willing to train the right candidate.
Job Duties:
- Unload inbound materials and verify inventory.
- Perform shipping and receiving transactions using a computer.
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups with truck drivers.
- Read routings (blueprints) to determine proper raw material sizes.
- Cut raw stock using a CNC band saw.
- Operate an overhead crane, jib crane, and propane sit-down forklift.
- Deliver cut materials to production and remove finished products.
- Palletize, package, wrap, and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Comfortable working both on the computer and on the production floor.
- Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift materials and remain active throughout the workday.
- Forklift and saw experience are a plus, but training is available for the right candidate.
