POSITION – Punch Press Operator
JOB LOCATION – Grafton, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift, Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm to 12:00am
STARTING PAY – $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Prior punch press or metal fabrication experience preferred
As a Punch Press Operator, you will set up and operate punch press machinery to cut, shape, and form metal parts according to specifications. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate punch press equipment for various metal fabrication tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain precision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous punch press or metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
