HVAC Installation Technician
Wilmington, DE | $35/hour DOE | Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced HVAC Installation Technician looking for a stable, full-time role with a growing company? We're hiring on behalf of one of our valued clients in the Wilmington, DE area — a well-established HVAC contractor known for quality workmanship and taking care of their crews.
What You'll Do:
- Install residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all installations meet local codes and safety standards
- Work directly with customers to explain system operation and answer questions
- Collaborate with the installation team to complete jobs efficiently and correctly the first time
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
- EPA Universal Certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varying conditions (attics, crawlspaces, rooftops)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
